Dive Montserrat - packages for Divers and snorkellers

Seawolf offers a complete range of packages for our guests, from full days of shore and boat diving, to snorkelling for our non-diving guests, to the thrill of guided night dives.

Montserrat Diving

Explore the untouched reef of Montserrat and nerby island of Rodunda to experience the myriad of sealife our Caribbean island has to offer. From the graceful and playful dolphin that dot our waters, to the sleek and deadly reef sharks that occasionally appear, diving in montserrat offers sights unlike any other Caribbean location.

Snokelling in Montserrat

For non-divers, our snorkelling trips allow all our guests, young and old alike to experience the wonders of our pristine waters. Snorkel over living reef and see Pipefish, eagle rays, Green turtles, nurse sharks and more.

Kayak Diving

We have three custom designed dive kayaks, and manuals on how to dive from a kayak. Take a gentle paddle to a nearby reef and dive at your leisure. The hotel can prepare a picnic lunch for you to have on a secluded beach. You can also receive your “Kayak diving distinctive speciality” Want a break from diving? You can simple rent the kayak and go paddle and snorkel the shoreline’s many secluded beaches and reefs.

Shore Diving

Montserrat has six great shore dives available at the moment. More may open up soon. You can choose to take a guided dive on any of these sites with one of our guides, or if you are an experienced diver, you may rent equipment and go off on your own. A VERY common sighting on these shore dives are turtles and rays.

Night Diving

Either from shore or boat, this is a great evening activity. Carrs Bay is teeming with phosphorescence, octopus and lobster. If you have never done a night dive, we will give you a thorough briefing, and show you a whole new side to the underwater world.

Redonda "Seafari"

Rodanda is a small uninhabited island 12 miles off the coast of Montserrat. It is surrounded with great reefs that have hardly ever been dived . A great place for spotting larger phalegics. We require eight people to do this trip, and it is always “weather permiting” We go out, do our first dive, have lunch on a deserted beach, and have a long second dive on a shallow reef before returning home. Three dive trips can also be arranged. Advanced booking is required.

Fishing Charters

Although we do not offer fishing at the moment, we can set you up with one of the best fishermen on the island, Dannie. In fact he runs a restaurant right next door to the dive shop. The dive shop actually used to be his restaurant. He is always happier fishing than bartending. Dire Straits wrote the song ‘Walk of life ‘ about him. He also taught Sting to windsurf. An interesting island character all round.

Boat Tours

Not a diver? Or want to spend some time out gassing before your trip home? We can arrange tours around the island. You can snorkel reefs not accessable from shore. Stop for picnics on totally secluded beaches. View the volcano from sea and go look at the ruins of the old capital Plymouth, destroyed by the volcano.

Private Charters

If you want the boat and staff all to yourself, you can charter the boat. Boat charters include dive equipment and any instruction you desire. Maximum number of passengers is eight, we do not like to crowd our boats. It detracts from your enjoyment.

Snorkelling

We have many sites suitable for snorkelling. You can purchase mask snorkel and fins from our retail store, or just rent them on a daily basis. Some sights are ‘do-it-yourself’ from shore, but if you want a real treat, let us take you to the best by boat. You can even combine doing a shallow discover scuba dive, while friends and family snorkel above you.
